Sales & Marketing Executive
IT platform for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, B2B


Responsibilities

As a Marketing & Sales manager you contribute to build up a growing stream of revenues and to develop eADMET GmbH into a growth company. You are strong in business development in software and pharmaceutical aspects. You also share initiatives of our growing marketing & sales activities on site in Munich and the coordination of different business functions. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

The candidate should be extremely entrepreneurial and excited by the opportunity to improve critical parts of the current value chain in drug discovery. He must have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry with over several years of Marketing&Sales experience in Europe combined with a strong track record of building a sales team.


Business Development

  • Sales and budget responsibility, continuous development of product and sales pipeline
  • Market and competition analysis and strategic recommendations in both academic and pharma industry environment
  • Development and conversion of marketing & sales strategies, engagement of a range of distribution partners, including multi-national corporations, regional distributors, non-governmental organizations and government offices.
  • Responsibility for coordinating and controlling projects, assist in negotiating pricing, terms and conditions with distributors.
  • Licensing of joint projects with partners, managing and meeting marketing expense budgets
  • Active communication with prospective and existing clients and collaborators.

Profile

  • Delivery of innovative business models, branding and marketing approaches
  • Ideally knowledge in fields of Chemoinformatics, Dr./PhD degree is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, comfortable with dealing at senior levels
  • Ability to negotiate with several functions (R&D, Business Development; Procurement)
  • Ideally established network to relevant key accounts/ in the field of ADME/T
  • Assertiveness, ability to work under pressure
  • At least 5 years experience in Business Development with Software (ideally in mid / large cap pharma and biotech companies), Chemistry or Informatics (licensing, sales, market development)
  • Strong experience in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry in business
  • Development / license management or product development.
  • Professional internal and external representation of the company, strong demonstration skills with experience in crafting and presenting effective proposals
  • Committed, self motivated with entrepreneurial thinking
  • Willingness to travel
  • Languages: German, English (fluent written and spoken). Excellent written and oral
  • Communication and presentation skills.
